Investigation
|
|
A one
day
designed
to
provide
participants
with the
skills
and
knowledge
to
enable
them to
contribute
effectively
to the
hazard
management
process
to
improve
workplace
health
and
safety
and to
conduct
an
accident
investigation.

Ergonomics
in the
Workplace
|
|
A one
day
course
to
introduce
participants
to
ergonomics,
the role
of the
ergonomist
and how
to apply
an
ergonomic
approach
to the
management
of
workplace
hazards.
|
Hazard Management and Hazardous
Substances
|
|
A one
day
course
where participants will learn to develop knowledge and skills to contribute effectively to the hazard management process.
Participants
will examine the rights and responsibilities of all parties in the workplace and learn how to apply the hazard management process to a workplace.

new to
their
role as
a Health
and
Safety
Committee
member.
The
course
looks at
the
legal
requirements
to
establish
health
and
safety
committees
and the
functions
of the
committee.

the
knowledge
and
skills
to
contribute
effectively
to the
health
and well
being in
their
workplace.
Participants
will
explore
the
programs
available
to
enable
them to
promote
health
and well
being
within
their
workplace.

course
where
participants
will
gain an
overview
of
infectious
hazards
in the
workplace
and
learn
strategies
for
management
of
potential
infection.

|
Psychological
Health |
|
A one
day
course
where
participants
look at
how
organisational
culture
and
management
style
can
impact
on
psychological
health
in the
workplace.
Participants
will be
introduced
to
methods
for
identifying
psychological
health
issues
both at
an
individual
and
organisational
level
and
discuss
control
measures
to
improve
performance
in terms
of OHS&W
and
productivity
improvements.

A one
day
course
where
participants
will
examine
the risk
management
principles
and
learn
how to
develop
a risk
management
plan for
their
workplace.

|
|
A one day
course to
introduce
participants
to processes
for
identifying,
assessing,
controlling
and
evaluating
'Slips,
Trips &
Falls'
hazards.
Participants
will discuss
assessment
tools and
collate an
action plan,
providing a
proactive
approach to
assist
participants
to influence
policy and
procedures.

Workplace Health - Body Mapping
|
|
A one
day
course
where
participants
will
examine
how
various
concepts
and
ideas
for
workplace
health
can be
promoted.
One tool
is "Body
Mapping"
a
technique
used to
identify
common
patterns
of
health
problems
amongst
workers.

|
A one
day
course
where
participants
will
examine
ways and
learn
the
skills
necessary
to
identify
assess
and
control
workplace
violence
at the
workplace,
as well
as the
consultative
measures
needed
to
resolve
them.
