The Union Agenda for the Future of South Australia

South Australia is facing a number of challenges which will require us all to have a clear plan for the future and for all of us to work together.

The SA Union Movement is in the process of developing our agenda for the future which addresses the following key areas:

    ·         Ensuring the wealth created from the mining boom and the defence industry expansion is shared and builds sustainable communities

    ·    Dealing with climate change and water

    ·    Addressing the labour and skill shortages

    ·    Ensuring safe and fair work to build an engaged and productive workforce

    ·    Promoting the role of a strong union movement in a Democracy

This agenda will be used over the next few years to engage our members, the general community and people of influence in a positive and constructive way to make our state stronger and fairer with a sustainable future.

This Agenda Document called “Sharing the Future” will be launched on November 25th at Regency TAFE with Professor Kim Beazley as the key note speaker.

It will then be placed on this site for your information and comment.
